PHOTOGRAPHY ADVENTURES

Our range of photography experiences allows you to find the photography material and level of challenge that is right for you. You have the opportunity to develop your photography skills, practice existing skills and capture new content, right at our rustic guest ranch, travelling through the mountains on horseback or visiting local historic sites. Our BC photography experiences give you the opportunity to capture iconic Canadian scenery and wildlife such as mountain panoramas, grizzly bears and historic mining towns.

Join a hiking or horse-assisted wilderness photography expedition in the Chilcotin Ark, where wildlife tracking, conservation awareness, pack horse care, and backcountry living come together.

This is an active expedition, not a passive photography holiday. Participants learn by taking part in the daily realities of the wilderness: helping care for pack horses, setting up and maintaining camp, preparing shared meals, learning tracking and observation skills, managing personal equipment, and adapting to weather and trail conditions.

Our guides provide leadership, teaching, logistical support, and a safe framework for travel. In return, we ask participants to bring curiosity, responsibility, flexibility, and a willingness to contribute to the group.

You may encounter wildlife, changing mountain weather, long days on the trail, simple camp conditions, and moments that challenge your comfort zone. These are not inconveniences to be removed; they are part of the learning experience.
