Ranch Based mountain biking adventures

Are you looking for a BC guest ranch based mountain biking experience that allows you to reconnect to nature?

Join a wilderness mountain biking expedition into the Chilcotin Ark, where wildlife tracking, conservation awareness, pack horse care, and backcountry living come together.

This is an active expedition, not a passive biking holiday. Participants learn by taking part in the daily realities of wilderness travel: helping with ranch chores, preparing shared meals, learning tracking and observation skills, managing personal equipment, and adapting to weather and trail conditions.

Our guides provide leadership, teaching, logistical support, and a safe framework for travel. In return, we ask participants to bring curiosity, responsibility, flexibility, and a willingness to contribute to the group.

You may encounter wildlife, changing mountain weather, long days on the trail, simple camp conditions, and moments that challenge your comfort zone. These are not inconveniences to be removed; they are part of the learning experience.

  • Experience Canada’s renowned parks and mountain biking trails
  • Get away from the city and recharge in true wilderness
  • Reconnect with nature, yourself and your family
  • Gain a fresh perspective on life and nature
  • Participate in a sustainable mountain biking experience

On our mountain bike adventure, arrive at our BC guest ranch and enjoy lunch in our historic lodge. Then prepare your bike, take a short ride to prepare for tomorrow and review the itinerary with your guides.

Next morning ride out on a morning ride from the ranch. Scout for wildlife at prime spots along the way and learn about the area. After lunch, ride out again on a different trail. Over the adventure, build up your skills to gradually longer and more challenging rides.

Record every animal you see in our wildlife sightings form to contribute to habitat and population management. Remove invasive species  and collect data along the way such as grizzly hair from rub trees for DNA analysis.

With multiday and single day mountain biking options, we have something for every level of biking experience.
